Our 360PRO system solution facilitates cost-effective reprocessing in your own fire brigade’s laundry facility. You can clean, decontaminate, proof and dry full sets of PPE in no time at all.
Our laundry machines are designed for protective clothing, emergency services clothing, masks, helmets, gloves, chemical protection suits, wetsuits and cut-resistant trousers as standard. Machine operation is simplified by a clear text display. A simple setting for displaying the information in different languages also makes the machines easy to use for virtually everyone.

System solution for masks

Working closely with mask and detergent manufacturers, we have developed specialised processes for the thorough cleaning and safe drying of a wide range of masks – without the need to remove them. Later, in the tumble dryer, our patented mask holder is able to hold up to 16 masks in place, depending on the drum size, during a drying programme lasting only 45 minutes – in which the gentle yet efficient drum movement removes residual water from the rubber recesses as effectively as possible.

Breathing masks, harnesses, compressed air bottles and air regulators can also be cleaned and disinfected in our fresh water dishwashers, with carefully coordinated programmes and baskets for keeping equipment stable.
During reprocessing, air regulators can be charged with compressed air in order to prevent the ingress of fluids.
Features such as a compressed air indicator and password protection for programme settings further increase process security, ensuring very short turnaround times and the rapid availability of equipment. As well as gaining a high level of process security and protection of materials, you also benefit from safe loading and operation as well as standardised, hygienic reprocessing.

Miele washer-disinfectors are ideal for reprocessing anaesthesia instruments. The inserts for loading the anaesthesia instruments are designed to make the most of the wash cabinet volume. Another benefit can be seen in the water and air circuit in the appliances: wash liquor and drying air are fed more efficiently along a shorter and streamlined circuit with minimal pressure losses on their way to the spray arms and injector nozzles. Optimum pressure conditions are also created by the automatically self-sealing docking valves when not occupied. The modular nature of the load carriers represents an additional product benefit.

Working in close collaboration with manufacturers, we are continually developing innovative processes used in the machine reprocessing of other items of kit – including helmets, protective gloves and harnesses. Helmets are washed in their own specially designed wash programme, which involves only minimal rotation and a high water level. A special-purpose protective bag allows deep cleaning and protects helmets against damage. Final drying takes place in a new and specially developed drying programme without drum rotation, or in a drying cabinet.
Modern fire brigade protective gloves fulfil a whole host of functions alongside protecting against burns, cuts and injuries. In particular, they protect against moisture whilst at the same time being breathable. In order to retain these properties, they are thoroughly washed in a special wash programme at low temperatures, low drum speeds and very low spin speeds. They can also be dried gently in a drying cabinet.
