Miele Announces the Winners of its
Grand Designs Live, London 2015 Stand Competition
The premium domestic appliance manufacturer, Miele is delighted to announce the winners of its coveted competition, where independent kitchen retailers had the chance of winning a 30sqm stand at Grand Designs Live, London 2015 worth over £16,000. To enter, studios had to design a kitchen for either less than £20,000 with five Miele appliances, less than £30,000 to include seven Miele appliances or less than £60,000 with 10 Miele appliances, including MTouch. The kitchens had to reflect the budget of the category entered and were judged on style, innovation and how the appliances had been incorporated, as well as a 500-word document about the design.
The Winners
Under £20,000 – Ben Russell of Arlington Interiors
Under £30,000 – Violet Nankervis of Ruach Kitchens
Under £60,000 – Richard McGee of Holloways of Ludlow
The winners’ stands will be on show at Grand Designs Live London from 2-10 May 2015. The judging panel included TV broadcaster and Live show host, Kevin McCloud; editor of Essential Kitchen & Bathroom Business magazine, Emma Hedges; acting editor of Grand Designs magazine, Sophie Vening and marketing director for Miele UK, Dominic Worsley.

We are thrilled to be able to work with some exceptional designers and give them the opportunity to showcase their talent at Grand Designs Live.”
As well as the 30sqm stand at Grand Designs Live London, which has over 100,000 show visitors the prize also includes the Miele appliances for the kitchen design, 100 complimentary tickets, publicity on the Grand Designs Live website and editorial coverage in the pre-show e-newsletter.
