The 5 year warranty is two year manufacturer warranty plus additional three years. This means it covers any defects in the material or workmanship of the product. Both defective parts and labour are covered.
This warranty covers the following models: TEH785 WP, TWH780 WP, TSH 783 WP, TEL785 WP, TWL780 WP, TSL783WP, TWR780 WP and TCR780 WP.
The 5 year warranty is only available to machines purchased from an authorised Miele retailer or directly from Miele in the United Kingdom excluding Northern Ireland.

No. You must still activate the warranty even if the appliance is registered. Registering the appliance will only activate the standard 2 year Manufacturer’s Guarantee.
