Higher Quality than other top brands
Flavia (Mayfair) gave me top advise and support throughout the purchase process including a follow-up email to check if i was happy. I am very pleased with our new Meile Washer Dryer. It's quality is clear to see and "feel". Operating the controls, door release and dispensing draw all exude quality. Nice and quite in operation almost silent at times. Spin is a little noisier than other operations but it drys clothes extremely well. My only disappointment was the installation. The guys only demonstrated the machine was operating by switching it on to light up the display. I would have expected them to test the watertight integrity of water connections inlet and waste. This could have been easily undertaken by starting a rinse/spin cycle. As it happens, when i first used the machine, alarms sounds as the water inlet was closed. In my case, this was easy for me to resolve by simply by opening the isolator tap. Secondly the machine couldn't drain dirty water as the waste pipe, as installed, was folded back on itself effectively blocking the wastepipe. Again I could easily reconfigure the pipe route to allow correct functionality. I don't know if this is a standard installation procedure but I can easily see why some customers could be left with a non-functioning machine. The delivery, however, was quick and on time, which was pleasing. Overall, excellent machine and very happy with it. Communications from Flavia and Meile were top class.
