Heating phase taking very long
The coffee machine heating phase takes a long time.
The appliance door was opened during the heating phase.
If the appliance door is opened during the heating phase, e.g. to fill the water container with fresh water, the heating elements switch off during that time. This stops the appliance from heating up any more. The appliance heats up only when the door is closed.
Close the appliance door during the heating phase.
