Salamander grill cannot be extended

The salamander grill cannot be extended.

Some dirt has got stuck in the gap around the browning unit or a foreign object has got caught inside it.

For thorough and gentle cleaning of your hob, we recommend Miele products which also care for your appliance at the same time.

Clean the salamander grill and/or remove the obstruction.

The circuit breaker has tripped.

Check whether the circuit breaker has tripped.

If the problem cannot be resolved, disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply for approx. 1 minute.
To disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply, turn off the relevant circuit breaker or remove the fine-wire fuse completely. Or switch off the residual current device.
