Food sinks after baking

The food sinks after baking in the oven.

The food was not cooked long enough.

Extend the cooking duration. If the food is already very dark, reduce the temperature by 10–20 °C.

It is normal for cakes containing quark to sink. After baking, leave the cake to stand in the switched-off oven for another 5 minutes to prevent it from sinking so much.
