Laundry is plastered against drum after spinning

The laundry is plastered against the drum of the washing machine/washer-dryer after spinning.

The high spin speeds press the laundry firmly against the drum body. The laundry forms a ring. The problem particularly affects long fibre fabrics – e.g. terry towels – because the fibres get stuck in the holes in the drum.

Reduce the spin speed.

Use the correct amount of detergent. Dirt and detergent residues can cause the laundry to stick.
