I Want My Old Machine Back

Have always had Miele products and found them to be excellent,my 16 year old machine broke down and another had to be ordered so I chose this one,I find the programmes are far too long even when choosing the short option.I did try the 'express' wash but it did not clean clothes at all..it is really just for new items that need a clean before wearing..I want my old machine back so much as it was brilliant..30 minute quick wash and it was efficient enough..The beeping at the end is annoying and to over ride it over rides everything else too..so cannot do this!..I also pressed the wrong programme the other day and could NOT change it whatever I did..so I am not happy with this either.I was in a bit of a rush to get a new one as I had lots of washing to do and had paid for the engineer which came off the price of a new one..But in hindsight I should have chosen a different one due to all of the above and the fact the screen dims to save energy is good but then you have no idea how much longer your wash is going to take?..I really would prefer to have my old one to be honest!

Much quieter than our previous 28 year old Miele!

Installation team were not engaging but efficient. Didn’t tell us where they had placed the transit bars. Had to call them. Machine has a tendency to move despite being level and located under utility counter. Will monitor over the coming weeks.

Good and well engineered but check the specifications carefully before making your decision.

We purchased the machine as a replacement for our sixteen year old that suffered a main circuit board failure, only one previous minor issue. We were sorry to see it go, but just beyond economical repair. The Miele delivery service was first class and was installed quickly. The new machine works well but is not as high spec as our old one. That said it operates well and although longer cycles cleans all the laundry with less power and water! I would like to see a complete inventory of the machines in order to see what options are available. We had a drum light on our old machine and it is missing on the new one.
