Easy DIY replacement
My Miele fan oven blew the circuit breaker. After that, the fan element wouldn't heat up. I was shocked. I still think of the oven as "brand new", but it turned out I bought it 8 years ago. How time flies! I isolated the oven from the mains. The old element was extremely easy to remove, access well thought out, all from inside. The element looked OK. I tested it, and it was open circuit. Ordered a new one, which arrived the next day, tested it, removing all doubt that the old one was indeed broken. Plugged the new one in, boxed it up, switched the oven on, job done. All very straight forward.
